DIMECON-RS and DIMECON-RS/PROFIBUS bus separator is designed for intrinsically safe separation of USB/RS 422/RS 485 bus circuits, enabling signal transmission between intrinsically safe circuits operating in an explosion hazard zone and non-intrinsically safe circuits installed outside the zone. The separator is designed for installation outside the explosion hazard zone or in flameproof Ex d enclosures. The bus separator has been designed and manufactured to ensure reliable operation of automated explosion-proof devices.

  • Non-intrinsically safe USB input port
  • Intrinsically safe output port with screw terminals for wires with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm2
  • Data transmission speed adjustable by hardware or software from 600 bps to 1.2 Mbps
  • Intended for cooperation with devices in zones 0, 20, 1, 21 and mining
  • For the DIMECON-RS/PROFIBUS version, appropriate terminating resistors for RS 485 lines have been introduced - the change does not affect the parameters of intrinsically safe circuits but only the functionality of the device
  • The device ensures electromagnetic compatibility EMC
  • Compact size
  • Mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail
  • Installation outside the explosion hazard zone or in a flameproof Ex d enclosure or protection by an Ex t enclosure
