Bus isolating repeater DIRS-422/485 allows communication with intrinsically safe devices using RS 422 or RS 485 located in hazardous areas. The basic function is isolation between intrinsically safe circuits located in hazardous areas and standard circuits in non-hazardous areas. Bus isolator DIRS-422/485 allows connecting from hazardous area with RS-232 standard bus through DB9 connector and RS422 or RS485 through screw connector. Intrinsically safe circuit connections are made through screw connector and allows connecting devices working in dust and/or gas hazardous areas compatible with RS422 or RS485 standard.
