Technical data

Flameproof cable glands CG, CS, stopping plugs SP and thread adapters CR are designed to allow safe insertion of cables into the flameproof enclosures, group I category M2 electrical equipment and group II of category 2 of industry equipment in an explosive atmosphere of gas, dust and non-hazardous areas.

To provide wide range of application, the series of CG and CS cable glands allows to fit cables in the entire range from 2 to 56 mm of the outer diameter.

To facilitate the adaptation and to preserve the flameproof characteristics in enclosures with higher than required number of holes it is recommended to use the SP type plugs.

The construction fulfills requirements of EN IEC 60079-0, EN 60079-1, EN 60079-7 and EN 60079-31 standards and the highest quality ensures an adequate level of explosionproof safety, which has been confirmed by KDB 10ATEX050X ATEX certificate. Thanks to the ATEX certification it is possible to use these cable glands, plugs and thread adapters in Ex devices without need of recertification of whole set.
